It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, grandfather and Big Brother, Warner. Dad passed away peacefully after a courageous fight with cancer for the past 4 years. He immigrated with his family to Canada in 1968 and resumed his medical career by becoming one of the first Asian male registered nurses in BC. Practising for 35 years he retired with the Vancouver Health Department.

Mourning him is his devoted wife of 52 years, Katherine, his son Albert (Josephine), and grandsons, Alistair and Adrian. Survived by mothers So Han Wei and Yip Chiu Yung , siblings Stephen (Gladys), Raymond (Julie), Susie Ho (Holig), Patsy Wong (Sam), Susanna Ong (Khim). Sister-in-law Hannah Tse (Enoch).He will be missed by nephews/nieces  Leo Kao, Alan Wei (Monica), Vincent Ho (Des), Jeffrey Wong, Stephanie Wei, Esther Wan (Sam), Eliza Wei (Alex), Tracy Ong, Penny Ho and Yvonne Ho-Massey (Steven), Valerie Wong, Judy, Janice, Jaime Tse and their spouses and children.

A special thanks to Dr. Kennecke at the BC Cancer Agency, VGH Palliative Care Unit and Marion Hospice.

Funeral service at Unitarian Church, 949 West 49th Avenue, Vancouver on August 1st, at 11:00 am. Internment at 1:00pm, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Bby. Celebrants are cordially invited to a banquet at 2:30pm at Prince Seafood Restaurant, 2881 Grandview Hwy., Vancouver.
