Our beloved Timothy Thore Innbjor suddenly left us on Nov. 30, 2024. He will be very much missed by mother Jean Humphreys, father Thor Innbjor, and sisters Alice Innbjor (Dale Nelson), Mary Jean Innbjor, and Trisha Innbjor. His aunts, uncles, and cousins are also saddened by his sudden passing, as are his many friends.
Tim was born on April 16, 1971 and was Action Boy right from the get-go; always on the move. Even having to wear an a-frame cast for 9 months at age 8 didn't slow him down much. He found his own way to get around and even went swimming. He loved music and sang the part of Tiny Tim in a grade 4 school production. He also loved biking, spending hours at the local BMX track or anywhere he could perfect his moves and jumps. He played ball when he was young and was in Rocky Mountain Ranger Cadets for awhile in his teens.
Tim's love of music led to his playing drums in high school in Kamloops and, after graduating, becoming a member of a local band for some time besides sitting in on various gigs. He also played some guitar and would pick out songs on mom's piano. He was a real fix-it guy, enjoying taking mechanical and electronic items apart and putting them back together. Tim worked at various jobs, but but chiefly for a couple of different demolition companies, specializing in asbestos removal.
Through it all his sense of humour and wacky jokes were sure to keep folks laughing, including his grandmother whom he'd set off even if she was trying to give him a serious talking-to. There was always laughter whenever Tim was around.
He loved animals, especially cats, like his beloved Beast (Marius).
Tim's family would like to thank Dr. Sakakibara for his care for Tim, and the Lu'ma staff who were so good to him. He spoke highly of you all. Our beloved Timmy was a bright spirit, gone too soon, and will be sorely missed. A family/friends gathering to celebrate Tim's life will be held at some point in the spring.
“And the spirit will return to God who gave it”. Ecc. 12:7
