Tim passed away in Vancouver B.C. after a lengthy battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife and rock of support, Iona Keefe, brother Patrick (Susie), sister Andrea (Penelope), niece Emma, mother-in-law Evangeline, sisters-in-law Lisa and Trula, cousin and friends Jane & Vic.

Tim attended Carleton University in Ottawa and after graduation went on to hold positions with the Pay Research Bureau (Ottawa); HSBC (Vancouver); Watson Wyatt (Vancouver), before starting his own firm Tim Dillon & Associates in Vancouver in 2005.

Tim was a consummate traveller for both work and pleasure and visited countries as diverse as Malta and Kazakhstan. He often combined his travels with his passion for golf. He played several courses and links in Britain, and in western Ireland where he made many lasting friendships. He also so enjoyed taking long walks. A favorite was around False Creek in Vancouver. Tim enjoyed life, despite the challenges his illness presented in the last few years.

He will be fondly remembered as a friend and mentor to the colleagues he worked with over the years.

Many thanks to Dr. Camilla Ross, and the staff at St Paul’s Hospital Dialysis and Palliative Care units for the exceptional care he received throughout his illness.

Those wishing to make an In-Memoriam donation may do so to the United Way, or to the charity of your choice.

Finally, to those in Tim’s life who appreciated his contribution to them, and who, in turn, contributed
immeasurably to him, thank you.
