Tom passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, July 6, 2018 in the Vancouver General Hospital at the age of 67 years. Tom Wagner of Vernon, B.C. formerly of Pembroke/Petawawa, ON, dearly loved husband and best friend of Gisele (nee Veaudry).

Tom will be lovingly and greatly missed by daughter Christina Wagner (spouse Mike Sherwood), Niagara Falls, ON, sons Robert Wagner (wife Tia), Armstrong, B.C. and Jacob (wife Alexandrine), Barrie, ON.  Loving Grandfather of Ryan and Evan Sherwood; Ava and Nyah Wagner; and Katarina and Matthias Wagner.  Dear brother of Ronald Wagner (wife Rebecca), sister Theresa Jiwa (husband Abdul) and twin brother William (Bill) Wagner.  Predeceased by his parents Helmeth William Wagner and Isabel Bertha Wagner (nee Blimkie).  Brother-In-Law to Charlie Veaudry (wife Cindy), Vernon, B.C., Mark Veaudry (wife Sylvie), Ottawa, ON, and Chris Veaudry (partner Erica Udvarnoky), Ottawa, ON.  Son-in-Law of Theresa Veaudry-Abbott (husband Harry), Ottawa, ON and the late Bert Veaudry.  Tom will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.

Tom was a Firefighter Captain with the Chalk River Nuclear Laboratories for 30 years.  In retirement Tom enjoyed life at Mazinaw Lake, ON and then Vernon, B.C.

Cremation has taken place.  A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Ottawa, ON.
