Love is beautiful and laughing is beautiful. And together they make life beautiful.
I have been blessed with 22 Years with an amazing woman. From the moment I first met her I loved that cheeky smile and the dry wit and most of all her sheer joy of living and the love of fun in life.
I can't think of anyone who would paint their entire dining room bright orange. Who would have so much patience with the kids and do that many crazy lego man voices, who would get up on their wedding day and make a speech about how silliness is the basis of a good marriage. No one can take those and many more memories from us.
It is cruel that Siobhan would have to suffer so much, being taken away from our perfect little life. But she did so with such tremendous strength, grace and humour.
In fact, I am beyond grateful for simply having met you, being kissed in that cab by you and having been allowed to spend 22 years with you. I truly feel we made the most of it, even not knowing it would be so short. I wish we had more and it hurts not having more than that, but at least we could have you for the time that we did.
I am so sorry you won't be there to watch our boys grow up and continue to grow from amazing young kids to amazing young adults. But you can be assured you are a big reason they are the kind, loving, and sometimes silly young gentlemen that they are. I will finish your job for you, rest assured of that.
I know that you will have already chosen new colours up there (Plain white was never your thing!) and the first party is already in the works. Heaven is going to be a blast with you up there.
Live, Laugh, Love - you did all of that and we are richer for it!
