Roux passed away in Vancouver after a valiant and dignified battle with cancer.  Her passing was too soon for daughter Claudine Philippe, son Gordon Philippe and his wife Anne Holtzman, sister Alvina Andrews, niece Donna Doherty, great nieces Jody Maittice and Tracey Selthun and their families. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Pearl and Joseph Roux, and her brother, Raymond Demarce, and Claudine’s father J.C. Philippe. She will be deeply missed by many friends and family whose hearts she touched and lives she changed.  The names are many and include her dear friends Jean Sabina, Bonnie Hutchison, and the daughter and grand daughters of her heart Kimm Wakefield and her daughters Mysha and Destiny. Roux was a kind, caring women who loved watching and feeling the weather, the setting sun and soaring eagles from her home in Madeira Park. She loved talking to people about things that mattered. A private memorial service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
