Passed away peacefully, leaving behind many whose lives he touched. The eldest son of Godfrey Louis Ross and Barbara Teresa Ross.
Glen is survived by his cherished wife Gloria Patricia Ross (McAvoy) and business partner of 55 plus years who encouraged and supported him in his many endeavours. Sister Genevieve M. Ross-Gazin (Chester); both deceased. Brother Calvin G. L. Ross (Allison), three loving children Kim M. Ross-Stordy (Vernon C.), Nadine C. Ross and Glen L. Ross; and his beloved grandchildren, Vernon C. Stordy (Jr), Morgan A. Stordy and Owen T. Stordy. Great-grandchild Amelia H. T. Stordy. Nieces and nephews, Rev. Mark Gazin, Bruce Gazin (Barbara), Barbara Stauffer (Sheldon) and Desiree Marziali, Shannon Batten (Dugan), Jordan Ross (Eliza), Geoffrey Snider, Duane Snider (Lee), Kevin Snider (Natalie).
We will remember him as having an incredibly sharp mind. Specialized in Development, Construction, Finance, Taxation, Real Estate, Charter Life Underwriter, Care home, Hospitality, Estate Planning & Marketing.
He built the world’s largest bed and breakfast 240-room hotel. An ardent historian, researcher and writer who passionately over 50 years connected philosophies, psychologies, physiologies and humanities. He wrote the world’s first book called “The Atomic God©” AKA “The Atomic Trinity©” (unpublished).
Glen attended Vancouver College in his youth, and studied at the University of British Columbia.
He will always be remembered and dearly missed for his in-depth zeal for life, action and willingness to help people.
Funeral to be held; Thursday, May 23rd, 2024, at St Peter and St Paul Church, 1425 West 39th Avenue, Vancouver. Viewing 10:00 am; followed by Mass Celebration 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
Reception at Van Dusen Gardens; The Cedar Room 11:45 am to 1:15 pm; 5151 Oak Street Vancouver BC V6M 4H1
Interment by Kearney Funeral Services at the Gardens of Gethsemani, 15694 32 Ave, Surrey 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
