Born on March 19th, 1965, the fourth of 7 children to Angel and Elsa Galang in Manila, Philippines, Rosalie Concepcion was a mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife and a fighter.
She is remembered by her husband John and her children Trixie, Ino, and Angelo and her parents and siblings, her in-laws and nephews and nieces.
Sweeter than the chocolates she made, the love and care she showed to everyone around her was immense and unquestionably real. Her every "I love you ", "How are you?" and I’m praying for you “was articulated with such conviction that continuously reminds those of us in her life that we are cherished.
Indeed, she is an inspiration and a model to look to for perseverance and dedication. A prayerful woman, guided by faith, she lived her values day-in and day-out and encouraged us to never give up, but to keep our heads up and with a wry smile and a sharp sense of humour, she loved to laugh and always knew what to say to lift our spirits.
But beyond all the flowery words and phrases, she was there. She was in person that exemplified what it meant to be present each and everyday, for ourselves and for the ones we love…and we are so grateful for the love and happiness she cultivated, shared, and instilled in us and we will always love her too.
