It is with sad hearts that Mom and I announce the passing of Rob, our Son and Brother. Rob was the gentlest man I ever knew, full of love and kindness for his family and close friends. Rob passed away after a short, hard battle with cancer. Predeceased by his Father, Francis (Frank) in 1991, Rob leaves behind his loving Mother, Margaret, Brother Thomas (Tom),  and many close friends. Rob started his airline career with Canadian Pacific Airlines on May 19th, 1981. Rob made many locations home, first Whitehorse in 1981, then to return to Vancouver in 1982, moved to Winnipeg in 1985, and than to return to Vancouver in 1986. With the purchase of Canadian Pacific Airlines, Rob joined Canadian Airlines, remaining in Vancouver till his move to Calgary in 1994. Once the purchase of Canadian Airlines by Air Canada occurred, Rob made his move to Montreal in 2000, where he became ill last October, suffering from cancer. He made his final move back to Vancouver on June 12th to be cared for by Richmond General Hospital.
