After a brave, courageous battle with cancer, our beloved Robert Joseph Helman passed into Jesus’ welcoming arms on March 21, 2021.
Bob was born Jan 26, 1944 in St. Rose du Lac, Manitoba to Olga (Van Humbeck) Helman and Edouard Helman and raised in Laurier, Manitoba.
Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and loved by all. Bob was always kind, generous, innovative, courageous, and loveable. He was a devout Catholic and Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Bob's Faith kept him strong as he was prepared to go to the Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Lynne Wooldridge Helman, his son’s Jason Helman (Wife Ania) and Paul Helman, grandchildren Maya, Isaac and Finnley Helman. He is also survived by his brother Edward Helman (Wife Kathy), brother Michael Helman, sister Valerie (Helman) Beaton, Aunt Evie Rossignol and Aunt Pattie VanHumbeck along with many awesome members of the Helman, VanHumbeck, Younger, Hillman and Trafton families.
