We are saddened to announce the passing of Robert Larry Gailling, cherished husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

He is survived by his beloved wife Anna, three kids Lila, Charito and Kyle, two grandkids Gabriel and Amelie, and siblings Barbara, Linda, and Ron and their families. Robert and Anna lived happily in various Langley neighborhoods for over 55 years, moving from Fort Langley to Murrayville, Willoughby and Walnut Grove. He was a familiar fixture in the Langley community and taught at Latimer Road Elementary for over 30 years . In his spare time, Robert could usually be found working in the yard, listening to Bob Dylan, watching hockey or playing chess, chatting with neighbors or playing snooker at the Langley Seniors Resources Society. He and Anna loved to roadtrip across BC and spent time in other various places across Canada, Europe, Thailand, Philippines, and the US.

Robert was diagnosed with Progressive Supernuclear Palsy (PSP) in 2021 and fought it like a titan warrior for over 3 years. From a young age, his resilience through adversity was remarkable. Even when he was at his weakest he loved his life and showed gratitude for everything and everyone. He had a unique knack for finding playful joy in every situation and was steadfast in his love and dedication to his wife and kids. He is sorely missed.

Thank you Robert, for all the ways you loved us. We are so proud of you. Love you forever.
