Campbell, Robert Austin, formerly of Toronto Ontario passed away peacefully in Vancouver Feb 3rd, 2020 at the age of 90. Bob attended school at St Andrews College in Toronto. He obtained his Master’s in Education from UBC. Bob met and married June (deceased) and took a teaching position with the Vancouver School Board. During this time, he had two children, worked as a teacher then school counsellor until his retirement. Bob (aka Lee) enjoyed his time during the summer working as a lifeguard on Kitsilano and Spanish Banks beaches. Bob loved to travel, enjoyed the theatre and classical music. His talents were many, he was an extremely accomplished guitar player, swimmer and skier but was especially proud of being a self-taught handyman. Bob built two cabins on his own at Pinecrest Estates in Whistler, where he eventually retired and enjoyed his senior years.

Bob was always there to lend a hand to a friend or neighbour. He will be missed by his long-time friend and companion, Audrey. Granpere will be very missed by his daughters Suzanne (Rand), Jeannine (Greg) and his grandchildren Austin, Lucia, Alicia, Coco.
