Ray passed away peacefully in Langley Hospital June 17, 2011.  Lovingly remembered by his wife Elsie (nee Hall) of 51 years; sons Lonny (Shirley) and their daughters Sydney and Shelby; Kevin (Elke) and their sons Mattias and Benjamin; Mark (Diane) and their children Andrea, Emma and Jacob; daughter Diane Jaeger (Ian) and their sons Matt and Daryl.  Also survived by 1 brother Len (Carol) of Red Deer, AB; 6 sisters Bea; Millie (Bill) of Saskatoon, Sk; Sophie, Irene (Hal), Mary and Betty (Bruce) all of Greater Vancouver; many nieces,  nephews, cousins and friends, especially our Brunch Bunch.  Remembered also by many he coached in Cloverdale Minor Hockey in the 1970’s; the Clayton Gang customers of Ray’s Garden Service.  Ray worked on the waterfront in Vancouver where he was a proud member and staunch supporter of local 500, ILWU for nearly 40 years.  Thanks to Brookside Lodge for Ray’s special care.  Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in Precious Blood Catholic Church 17475 – 59 Avenue Cloverdale, BC.  No flowers by request in favor of donations to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation, BC Children’s Hospital or to the Charity of choice.  Condolences may be left online at www.kearneyfs.com.
