Ray Price

Ramon Price passed on the morning of Nov.30, 2024 at the age of 86 in Abbotsford, BC. 

Ray was born November 12, 1938, in East London, South Africa, Predeceased by parents: Edward and Ivy. Ray met and married his loving wife, Maureen, becoming a father to 4 children, his family became his life.

Both Ray and Maureen uprooted their young family in 1979 from South Africa to Canada, to start a new life. Ray was a mechanic by trade and had an amazing ability to learn, build and accomplish using his hands and his mind. 

You can say he was a quiet, gentle, humorous, patient man, never wanting to be in the forefront of anything, always putting his family first. His home was open and welcoming to all. His actions amplified his unwavering devotion to his wife, Maureen, whom he was married to for over 60 years, his children and his faith. Leaving a legacy of quiet strength and unconditional love. He was a teacher, a hero, a mentor, a good Samaritan and Maureen’s best friend. 

We will always strive to make you proud.

 Leaving behind his lifelong partner, Maureen, his children, Shane, Liesl, Clint, Jason and Diane, grandchildren, and many dear relatives and friends to remain to mourn his passing.

The funeral will be held on Thursday December 12, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Church followed by the burial at the Gardens of Gethsemani.
