Philip John Kincaid passed away suddenly on December 11, 2014 in Vancouver, BC at the age of 49.
Predeceased by his proud parents, Frank and Vivienne.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Catriona, brother Michael, his family, as well as other family and friends.
Born in South Shields, England, he moved to East Riverside, NB where he attended RCS, becoming an avid member of the rugby team. Attending Mount Allison University he developed a lifelong passion for rocks while studying Geology. Following in his Dad's footsteps, he went to work for Saint John Shipbuilding working on our Canadian Patrol Frigates. Moving to Vancouver with Catamaran Ferries International, he helped to construct BC's Fast Ferries. Joining SNC Lavalin, he returned to his love for Geology, managing a mining project in Santo Domingo, then managing BC Hydro projects where he was able to mentor those around him.
Outside of work he loved the outdoors and taking his beloved four legged friends for runs and walks. His quick sarcastic wit provided comic relief for those who got it.
In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully acknowledged to BCSPCA, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Canadian Cancer Society.
