MURRAY DRIVER, Peter Roy passed away suddenly on October 24th, 2018 at Lions Gate Hospital at the age of 87. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Rose. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Janice (Paul) Douglas (Deneen), Chris along with his grandchildren Jaime, Jenna, Lia and Tyson. He will be sadly missed by many friends and family here and in Australia, England and the USA.
Peter was born in India where he grew up and spent months away from home attending boarding school. He travelled and worked in Africa and England before relocating to Canada where he met Rose and settled down in North Vancouver. His many jobs and career paths included working in real estate and for CP Rail as well as owning a restaurant, hotel, used furniture store and a plumbing and electrical company. He was a devoted father, loved fishing at McGillivray Lake, always had a joke to tell and was involved in many sports including field hockey, boxing and soccer.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Parish, 2725 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, BC with a reception to follow at Queens Cross Pub, Upper Floor, 2989 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver.
