Wallace, Paul died on March 23rd, 2021 in Vancouver BC at the age of 65.  He was predeceased by his parents Harry Wallace and Gretta Rogers (Wallace), stepfather Ed Rogers, cousin Lex Armstrong and his aunt Violet Armstrong (Frank).  He will be lovingly  remembered by his wife Judith Gayle, son Sean Christopher, cousins Sharon Armstrong,  Florence Thomson (David),  Barbara Young (Steven),  Alan Lilley (Pearl),  Keith Lilley and Todd Lilley; step sister Elaine Koroll, Aunt Nan Lilley (Sam deceased) , Uncle Derek Lilley (Jean) as well as step nieces and nephews Ian, Mark, Kathryn, Andrew  Stephen; sister- in-laws Wendi-Lynn Ulan (Sarah), Janice Ulan and Allison Ulan; brother- in-law Ross Ulan (Barbara) and father-in-law Orest Ulan (Esther). Close friends who were by his side include: Claire Huguenot, Karen Kristensen, Sue Rogers, Wendi Lacusta, Hugh Ker (Sue Haid), Jacqueline Gijssen (John Nightingale), Todd Ablett (Stella), Colin Oleksyn (Elaine Fisher), Steve Yeomans (Claire), Carolyn Girard, Richard Wassersug and Gervais Fox.   Many, many others sent support and love during Paul’s final days.

Appreciation is extended to the medical professionals at BC Cancer agency for providing outstanding care.  As well, the South Community Home Health Program went above and beyond to provide valued home support during Paul’s final days.

Paul obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Waterloo in 1979, pursued studies abroad from UBC while in Hong Kong in 1984, a Bachelor of Architecture from UBC in 1986 as well as a Bachelor of Education from UBC and BCIT in 2000.

He was also a Member of the Architectural Institute of BC (MAIBC)

Paul was employed by Jo Wai Architects from 1986 – 1996, Hancock Brockner Ing Wright Architects from 1997 – 1999, the Vancouver School Board (a valued staff of Gladstone Secondary School) from 2000-2020.  He was also Assistant Head Coach and Head Coach for the Gladstone Robotics Team.

Paul enjoyed travelling, kayaking, hiking, sailing, biking, swimming, windsurfing, and playing hockey. He was a team member for the Dragon Boat Team Butts in a Boat.  Paul loved a good cup of coffee and adored living in Vancouver.

Paul was actively involved and a cherished member of the Vancouver Prostate Cancer Support Group and served as a Board member for the Killarney Recreation Centre.

In lieu of flowers donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society , the Prostate Cancer Foundation BC , the BC Cancer Foundation , and the Red Cross Equipment Loan Program would be appreciated.
