Paul was foremost a faithful and loving family man, taking special pride in his sons’ athletic achievements and activities (football, rugby, wrestling) at Vancouver College and beyond. Paul was a hard and meticulous worker, passionate in his many pursuits. As a professional engineer he gained heavy civil construction experience in Chicago and Toronto prior to being responsible for the construction, planning, management, and administration of run-of-river hydroelectric plants throughout British Columbia.  Always willing to take on new challenges, in his last years he embarked on the full restoration of 1956 and 1957 Cadillac Eldorado convertibles. Paul loved his family, cooking, gardening, and all kinds of sports activities, such as cycling, skiing, hockey, mountain biking, triathlons, windsurfing, and basketball.  Gone too soon, he will be dearly missed.

Paul wished to have a large party of friends and family when circumstances allow.  In lieu of flowers, he asked that donations be made to Big Brothers of Vancouver, 1193 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC V5V 3C9, www.bigbrothersvancouver.com .  Special thanks to friends who welcomed his family to the Vancouver community.
