It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick John Coyle announces his passing after several years of illness on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Notwithstanding his illness, Pat’s natural charm and wonderful sense of humour remained intact. Pat will be sadly missed by his wife Lorraine, his soulmate of 63 years, and his children Jim (Kelly), Cathy (Terry), Paul (Natalie), Michael (Raman), Stephen (Tomomi) and Jennifer (Grady). Pat will also be fondly remembered by his 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Pat was predeceased by his sister Mary Koenig.
Pat is fondly remembered by so many. He had the ability to connect and have people feel comfortable, welcomed and loved. The relationships that Pat and Lorraine developed with friends, and most importantly family, stand the test of time; demonstrating how blessed we are to have been a part of their lives.
A Funeral Service in memory of Patrick will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 20675 87th Ave. Langley, BC. V1M 3X4 with Father Edwin Kulling celebrating the Mass. A reception will be held at the church following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Pat to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, a disease that had a major impact on his quality of life.
