In loving memory of Patricia Moreen Turnbull
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Patricia Moreen Turnbull (neé Shea). She transitioned peacefully surrounded by immense love, embarking on to her next journey. Predeceased and beloved daughter of Donald Merchinson Shea and Iris Blanche (Beaven) and her brother Dr. Donald Shea (Wendy Shea). She is now reunited with her husband Dr. Ian Marr Turnbull.
Patsy was adored and loved by so many and has left wonderful memories with her lifelong friends that she cherished so dearly. She was an amazing and dependable friend with a massive heart, infectious laugh, contagious often naughty sense of humor and an amazing force of positivity. She always brought fun and laughter everywhere she went. Patti was a stunning beauty right to the very end.
Patti loved adventure and always met it with a twinkle in her eye. She had a great love for all animals and the ocean, which was passed to her three children and ten grandchildren. Some places dear to her heart included Tsawwassen beach, where she spent all of her childhood summers and later with her young family generating many friendships and memories that last to this day. The farmhouse at Camp Bay on North Pender Island, many wonderful adventures to Europe. Maui and the interior of B.C. held very deep roots in her heart.
We are grateful for the gift of having the best Mom, Nana, and friend. Our childhood home was a haven of laughter and love, where Patti instilled in us a passion for life, the art of cooking with love, and the importance of cherishing friends, family, and animals. She will be dearly missed, warmly loved and survived by her children Rebecca (Michael Moore), Nicholas (Elane Bapty), Meghan (Russell Clemitson), and her extended family Anna (Tim) Gilmour, Ross (Barb), Frank (Andrea), and Gordon (Sarah) Turnbull.
Cherished Nana to Madison, Tanner, Cache, Riley, Cooper, Jordan, Sydney, Paisley, Griffin and Jack.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of B.C. in her name would be greatly appreciated. Patricia’s spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were touched by her love and laughter.
