A beautiful soul, extraordinary woman, loving mother - Lee lived a
remarkable life and was an inspiration to those she met for her
accomplishments, perseverance and compassion. Born and raised in
Saskatchewan to a Ukrainian family, Lee was a pioneer graduating from
Dentistry in 1955. She put her all into whatever she did, and she did
a lot - running her dental practice, doing her own orthodontics,
cooking huge holiday dinners, baking incredible pies, preserving jams
and pickles, skiing down snowy slopes and walking her pack of Boston
Terriers. Lee was kind, extraordinarily generous and created a home
that was open and welcoming to all. The love and support she gave to
those close to her was fierce and unwavering, and she had an intense
passion and conviction for what she believed in. She had a quick
humour and sharp intellect that made her a perfect match for robust
debates with her husband Jim. She will be deeply and forever missed by
all those lucky enough to call her family or friend. Predeceased by
her husband Jim, Lee leaves behind her daughters Zora and Megan
(Phil); grandchildren Darren, Andreas and Devan; nieces and nephews
and many friends. A celebration of life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on
Saturday, April 29 at Megan’s home in Coquitlam.
