Norma Marie McCormack

In the afternoon of December 24, 2024, our dear mom, Norma Marie McCormack (nee Williams) passed away peacefully at the age of 89. Predeceased by our father, her husband of 62 years, Kenneth earlier this year, we find comfort in knowing they are together again for eternity. She was surrounded by her loving family; son Gordon and wife Susana, daughter Pamela and her four grandchildren Connor, Jackson, Nicole, and Kendra during her final days. 

Norma was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, auntie, and friend who will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege to be part of her life. As an elementary school teacher working with children with special needs, her impact and legacy lives on with her many colleagues and the hundreds of students she taught over her 35 year career. 

Our family would like to thank the staff at Eagle Ridge Hospital, Queen’s Park Care Centre and especially her dear caregiver, Joyce who’s love and support meant the world to mom and our family.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 25th from 10:30-11:30 am at Kearney Funeral Services, Columbia-Bowell Chapel at 219 6th Street, New Westminster, BC. Refreshments to follow.
