It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Nanna and G.G., who was loved by so many. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Lorne William (Bill) Scott and her sisters Beryl Hamilton and Peggy Rose. Survived and lovingly remembered by her children Dave (Rita) Scott, Brad Scott, Jeff (Brenda) Scott, and her grandchildren Angela (Jeff), Dan, Tim (Jennifer), Mike (Laura), Natasha (Tom), Ashley (Cole), Braden (Megan), and her 5 great grandchildren Ava, Olivia, Jack, Dylan, and Jared. Also, her sister Mary Templeton, sister-in-law Elsie Scott, and her many wonderful nephews and nieces.

Mom was born and raised in New Westminster, B.C. After graduating from high school, she trained at Essondale to become a psychiatric nurse. At the age of 21 she worked at Woodlands and Essondale before marrying her soul mate, Bill.

Norma and Bill raised their three boys in New Westminster, spent many summers in Point Roberts with their extended family, travelled with family and friends to warm destinations, and always enjoyed entertaining at their home. They were both members of the Pitt Meadows Golf and Country Club and each had the perfect achievement of a hole-in-one. Norma was always there to offer advice, a kind word, and a big hug. She loved her family and friends dearly and they loved her back. She enjoyed baking, knitting, sewing and crocheting and many of us are still enjoying the blankets and sweaters that she made.

There will be no service, but the family will gather to celebrate her life at a later date.
