A loving soul and talented free spirit, Nathaniel left his mark on so many of us. His bonding with friends, and his love of music and art are his legacy. Though parenting this feisty, red headed skateboarder was challenging from the beginning, we could see he was becoming a fine responsible young man. He graduated from Henry Wise Wood Senior High and went on to study post secondary music production arts. While working at various jobs, he pursued his dreams of creating music and learning the industry. Many hours were spent in front of his computer creating tracks before he went out to DJ a show. Realizing he needed a backup career, he decided on tin smithing, and seemed to enjoy the work and planned to apprentice. After a layoff in Calgary, he decided to move to Vancouver and was soon employed in the trade. He relished his independence and had plans for his life ahead. There is so much more to be said, and we all hurt immensely, but time may somewhat heal our wounded hearts.

Nathaniel will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Warren and Lisa, brother Connor, Grandma Mary Baerg and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. We would like to acknowledge Nate's second family -his closest friends. If you would like to make a donation in Nathaniel's memory, a contribution to Calgary Health Trust will be directed to those most in need. A memorial tribute will be held Friday November 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at River Park Church, 3818 - 14 a Street SW, Calgary, Alberta, T2T 3Y2.
