The family are deeply saddened to announce the death of Catriona, peacefully on January 4th at the age of 63 surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her mother Catherine, father James Brodie Cupples and brother-in-law Hugh Carroll. Catriona is survived by her husband Steve, children Sarah, James and Emily, siblings William (Claire), Jane, Brodie (Brenda), Sally (Rob), many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and her cat Oscar
Born and raised in Victoria, Catriona received her nursing degree from Royal Jubilee Hospital Nursing School. She and Steve met in 1983, were married in 1985 and after a brief stay in Calgary returned to BC (Vancouver) in 1988. Catriona devoted herself to her family after the children arrived, even homeschooling them all for 8 years.
She was courageous, bright, articulate, kind hearted and was known to be strong willed at times.
A celebration of life will be planned for the future. No service by request.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Sheilagh Phillips for many years of compassionate care and Paula Peres for her care, expertise and friendship the past 16 years.
