It is with great sadness our dear Uncle Mo, “Maurice Gordon Prew”, passed away on June 28th 2021, at the age of 92 years old, after suffering a heart attack a week earlier. He was a very kind and gentle soul. We have had many happy and loving family memories of him.
Maurice was pre-deceased by his mother, Anne Prew, his father William F. Prew, his sisters Ethel King, and our mother Maureen Stonier (Bill). He is fondly and lovingly remembered by niece Julie Stonier, nephew Jeffrey Stonier, niece Sheila Simons (Frank), nephew Blair MacEachern (Kathy), many great and great-great nieces and nephews, and by his friend James Sayers, who was like a son to him.
He worked until retirement in the mining industry and will be remembered by his friends and co-workers in the industry, through the years. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew him!
