Mary (Marion) Frances O’Grady (nee Gustaw) passed away on January 6th, 2011 at the age of 86 years after succumbing to a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease. Mary was born on May 24, 1924 in Elma, Manitoba, one of 11 children born to Mary (Karczewska) and Karol Gustaw. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Donald Francis on October 4, 2000 and is survived by her loving children Dianne Colleen, Daniel Patrick, Brian [Darcy] (spouse Cheryl) and Michael Kevin (partner Daniel); grandchildren, Samantha (spouse Chris), John-Paul (spouse April), Sean and Brenden; great grandchildren, Jason, Dylan, Shianne, Justice, Boston and Soleil and (21) nieces and nephews and (52) great nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by siblings Jenny, Nellie and Joseph. Mary is survived by her loving siblings Ada, Eva, Ann, Victor, Rudy (spouse Helen) and Bert of Ontario, and Frank (spouse Bernice) of Manitoba. The family wishes to express its gratitude to Dr. Henteleff for her attentive care over the past several years as well as all the nurses, care attendants and staff from the Lotus Community at Suncreek Lodge.

A funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish at 8842 – 119th Street, Delta, B.C. on January 14th at 1:00 PM . If friends so desire in lieu of flowers tributes may be made directly to the Parkinson Society of B.C.
