It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Mary Lou Warner, age 90, on December 1st, 2021. Mary Lou had recently celebrated her 90th birthday and their 63rd wedding anniversary. She is lovingly remembered as the heartbeat at the centre of our family and will forever remain in our hearts.  We will miss her greatly.

Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Gerry Warner, her two children; Anne (Richard) and David (Jane), her four grandchildren; Jonathan (Niki), Kristen (Tyler), Steven (Alison) and Alana (Leo) and her 2 great grandchildren; Huxley and Landon.

Born in Ottawa, she was raised on a farm in a very close-knit family, youngest of 7 siblings with a large extended family. Mary Lou will be deeply missed by her sister, Rita Hurley and her many much-loved nieces, nephews and cousins plus all their families and her friends.

She was a wonderful wife and the best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother we could have ever hoped for. Mary Lou was also a devoted godmother. She was dedicated to supporting the family and never missed an opportunity to be with her kids and grandkids. She was a constant spectator at all sports games, dance or music recitals plus all special events and milestones.  Family was everything to her.

Due to Covid, a private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Mary Lou’s name to Covenant House: www.covenanthousebc.org
