Mark "Andre" DesLauriers

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Andre DesLauriers, who left this world on February 26, 2025, at the age of 64.

Born on December 2, 1960, to Louis Philippe DesLauriers and Maria DesLauriers Nofield, Andre was the fifth of seven children. He grew up surrounded by the love of his family, a bond he cherished throughout his life. Andre was a devoted brother, a beloved uncle, and a dear friend to many. He is survived by his six siblings—one sister and five brothers—who will forever remember his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for family.

Andre had a gift for making people smile. His fun-loving spirit and warm heart brought joy to those around him, whether through a quick-witted joke, a shared memory, or a simple, thoughtful gesture. He found happiness in bringing laughter to others and took pride in brightening the lives of everyone he met.

Though he never married or had children of his own, Andre’s impact on his family and friends was profound. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 25 at 10:00 AM at Kearney Funeral Services in New Westminster to celebrate Andre’s life. In honor of his memory, please take a moment to share a smile or a laugh with someone today—just as Andre would have wanted.
