It is with love and sadness that the family of Marjorie Darrach (nee Payment) mark her passing on Saturday, January 4th. Marjorie was predeceased by her loving husband Bud in 1997. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Cindy (Neil), son Brent (Susan), grandchildren Jalal (Adrian), Kirsten (Sean), Kayla (Dennis) and great-grandchildren Mickelle, Katie, Makena and Benjamin. Marjorie was born in Raymore Saskatchewan on April 30, 1926. Marjorie moved to Saskatoon at a young age to attend Business College, and, this is where she met Bud, her wonderful husband of 44 years. Marjorie instilled her love of life, and, passion for music and dance in both of her children. Marjorie was an amazingly warm person and exuded a sense of fun to everyone who came in contact with her. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Nurses and Care Aids at Purdy 2 for the incredible care and devotion they provided their mother over the past two years. They would also like to acknowledge Gabrielle Horvath who was not only a care provider, but, a friend. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 17th at 2:00pm at Kearney Funeral Services, 450 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. If you are driving, parking can be found at the Olympic Village Station located directly across the street from Kearney Funeral Services, or meter parking on street.
