Marie Jean D'Arc Yvonne Sloan

Jeanne Sloan / Jean D’Arc Sloan (nee Roy), age 89 years passed away at Magnolia Gardens on February 7, 2025, after a hard battle with cancer.

Jeanne was born February 23, 1935, to Lauria Martin and Leo Roy in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan. She was the fourth of ten children. At a young age she moved to BC, where she remained.

She is survived by her daughter Elaine (Blaine) and Adele (Tim), grandchildren Alexander, Deja and Jay, brothers Bernard, Robert, Albert, Gerard, Richard, and sister Marguerite Broten.

In her sixties Jeanne became part of another family, Candy (Gordon), Michele (Bruce) and their children Ben, Matthew, Leah, Blake, Scott and over the years great grandmother (GiGi) to their children Olivia, Hazel, Gabi, Georgia, Dallas, Dakota, and Holland.

She was predeceased by her second husband Bob, father Leo, mother Lauria, brothers, Henri, Raoul, and Lucien.

Jeanne was a loving soul who loved life and all celebrations. We will miss her love and feisty personality.
