Marisa, as she was affectionately known, was a truly great soul. Her life was a remarkable one of lifelong duty driven by unbridled, unselfish devotion, unwavering loyalty and infinite, immense and fierce love for family. She faced heartbreaking life struggles and loss, famine, war - all with steadfast dedication to what she valued most - family. We all substantially benefited from being blessed to have Marisa in our lives. Marisa would always greet us with wide open arms, extensive, strong hugs, and many kisses. Her door was always open. Coffee and treats were always available. Pasta and the best sauce EVER created was on the table on Sunday for anyone who happened to stop by. If it was within Marisa's capability, she would move Heaven and Earth to grant any request for those she loved. If you were lucky enough to be her friend, then you were family, too.
Marisa's passing leaves a great void in all our lives; however, her memory will remain a precious treasure. Her love for us will forever be imprinted in our minds, upon our souls, and within our hearts.
Marisa is survived by her son Ectore (Lois), grandson Michael (Caitlin), daughter in law Katja, great-grandchildren Matteo, Easton, Maddison, Camdyn and , brother Nicola, sister-in-law Antonietta, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
