Maria Luisa Lacson Tuazon, born March 15, 1961, peacefully passed away in Langley, BC, Canada, due to pulmonary fibrosis, surrounded by her loved ones. She will be profoundly missed.

Maria Luisa is survived by her children, Francis and Franciesca; her spouse, Joseph; son-in-law, Adrian; and her first husband, Francisco (Beanne). She is also mourned by her siblings Manny (Budie), Banie (Jeanie), Gany (Ann), Denny (Jayjay), and Lenny (Gina), along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Tercy, and siblings Vivian (Arnel), Boya (Amy), Annie (Papo), and Yoyoy (Cindy). Her cherished pets, Charlie, Terri, Ashoka, and Ciri, were also significant in her life. Maria Luisa was blessed to know about her first grandchild before her passing.

Maria Luisa dedicated her life to her children's well-being and success. In 1995, she immigrated to Canada with Francisco, seeking better opportunities for her family. She sacrificed many pleasures, but her love and dedication remained unwavering.

Her passions included dancing, watching Korean dramas, walking, and enjoying time with her children's pets. She cherished weekends in parks with Joe, watched dramas with Franciesca, and danced with Francis at Franciesca's wedding. Known for her playful spirit, she often spoiled the family pets with treats.

An Evening Prayer & Viewing will be held at St. Joseph’s Parish in Langley, BC, on October 1, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Mass on October 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
