Margaret (Peggy) Ann Wallace passed away on May 6, 2009. She was born in Vancouver on July 20, 1926, the only child of Annie and Ed Livingstone. She attended Kerrisdale Elementary School, then Point Grey and Magee High School. Peggy trained as a teacher and taught Grade One in Hope and Vancouver before marrying her high school sweetheart, Bill. They lived in Toronto and Montreal before returning to Vancouver and their home of 52 years. Predeceased by son David (2001) and husband Bill (2008), she leaves behind children Ann, Bill (Barbara), Chris and Ruth (Jim), also 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Mom loved her family, home, garden and numerous pets, spending summers at Granthams Landing, music, laughing and making others happy. Mom lived her last year at Blenheim Lodge where she was content and well cared for by wonderful nurses and aides, and especially her dear friend Flor, who brightened Mom’s days. Mom, you are so dearly missed. Your lively, loving spirit will always be with us. There will be a family service in July to honour and remember Mom and Dad.
