Born in Walton, and raised in Bootle, England until she immigrated to Vancouver, BC in 1956. The youngest of 5, her 4 siblings Edward, Patricia, Ronald and Francis all pre-deceased her. Her loving partner Karl of 25 years pre-deceased her in 2005. Daughter Anne survives her, along with countless nieces and nephews in England and Canada.
In life Margaret had gone through so much that only one word is really fitting and that is Survivor. Family and friends would say her love, strength, kindness and sense of humour defined her most. There were many memorable moments spent with her daughter, family and friends, but the main highlight would be returning to Liverpool in 2015 for the first time since she immigrated, to visit her sister Pat.
Special thanks to her long-term physician Dr. Lai, plus many healthcare professionals over the years and the team at Burnaby Hospital while she was in their care.
