Breeze, Margaret Barr (Wilson), born March 31, 1916 in Point Grey BC (now known as Vancouver), passed away April 7th, 2019 in Vancouver at Sunrise Senior Living.  We sadly announce the passing of our dear Mother just one week after celebrating her 103rd birthday.  She was  surrounded by those that loved her. Predeceased by her loving husband John (Jack) E. Breeze, sister Dorothy Maud Slater, brother Arnold Barr Wilson and parents Arnold and Elsie Wilson.  Survived by daughters Dorothy Breeze (Charles Murphy), Rosemary Breeze (Brian Stauffer); son Robert (Bob) Breeze (Charlotte); nieces and nephews Jean Wilson, Beverly Waltmans, Cheryl Staveley, Jim Wilson,  Terri Breeze, Michael Breeze, Kathy Breeze; granddaughters Shannon Vandop (Kevin) and Jennifer Breeze (Dan Stringer); great-grandchildren Georgia and Cole Vandop, and Delaney and Ryder Stringer; 16 great-nieces/nephews as well as great-great nieces/nephews.  Mom led an active life as a long-time member of St. Anselm’s Women’s Auxiliary, UBC Faculty Women’s Club and Brock House Society.  One of her favourites was the Gourmet group which led to many culinary delights and dinners that took the members around the world.  Sadly, Mom suffered from dementia and for eleven years she resided at Sunrise Senior Living (Vancouver) where she was well cared for right until the end.  At this time, we would like to thank Sunrise staff for all the wonderful loving care of Mom and who truly became family to Mom and to Rosemary and Dorothy. We especially thank our cousin Jean Wilson for her on-going loving care and attention to Mom, her god-mother. We also thank Dr. Bradley Fritz for his wonderful care of Mom that continued to the end. A Celebration of Life and internment of ashes is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
