It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing away of Louis at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. Louis was born in Saskatchewan and leaves behind his loving wife, Maria, and many admiring nieces, nephews, grandchildren, stepsons and friends.  Before his passing, Louis mentioned that his eleven years with Maria were, without a doubt, the happiest years of his life. Louis epitomised the following: successful is the person who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of children, who leaves the world better than they found it, who has never lacked appreciation for the earth’s beauty, and who never fails to look for the best in others or give the best of themselves.  He will never be forgotten and always occupy a very special place in our hearts.
Prayers will be offered at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday July 7th, at Columbia Bowell Chapel, 219 6th Street, New Westminster. Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 (Noon) on Thursday, July 8th at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 330 Royal Ave, New Westminster.
