Lorraine Nancy Jones was a devoted wife of 66 years , beautiful Mom, Nana, and great grandma!
Lovingly remembered by husband Len, son Rob (Sarah) daughter Brenda (John) grandchildren Meghan, Sam, Andrea, Jesse and great grandson Harvey.
She raised her family on her own fresh preserves from her garden and always had plenty in the pantry for spontaneous family and friend gatherings.
She made the Jones household the place everyone wanted to gather at! When she wasn’t being an amazing homemaker Lorraine worked part time as a cashier clerk at Cloverdale ShopEasy and then her beloved Woodwards where she brought the same joy to all her clientele!
Devoted to her children’s and grandchildren’s athletic endeavours….She was often heard cheering loudly at ice arenas, dance recitals, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and, field hockey pitches, all across the lower mainland.
Lorraine was an absolute delight in her community and she always stopped to talk and bring funny comments to everyone around her.
Her comedic timing was something that remained until she peacefully told her family she was tired and needed to go to sleep!
It’s with much love from her friends and family that we say Thank you Nana Banana for always making us all feel so special and loved and making us laugh till we cried…
Bless you as you leave this place and transition to the next part of your journey. I’m sure you will bring the same love and laughter …
