It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lloyd Ernest Hedley of North Vancouver. Lloyd was born in Hearst, Ontario on April 29, 1936 and passed away on January 22, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Paulita; children Clarissa, Mark (Kathleen), Gayle Weiss (Peter) and Heather; and grandchildren Trevor, Jason, Corey, Jasmine, Sarah and Samantha; brothers Glen (Louise) and Errol (Sherron); and nieces and nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by his first wife Carol, sister Shirley Bott and brother Ted (Peggy).
He was a devoted family man and he loved nothing more than cooking and entertaining a house full of people. His passions were salmon fishing with his buddies, building and woodworking; world history and crossword puzzles.
Lloyd had a kind, generous heart always willing to give of himself and help others in any way he could. His witty humour, storytelling and joyful laugh will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Special thanks for the kindness and gentle care of the Berkeley Care Centre as well as the 2nd floor East of Evergreen House. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society BC in Lloyd Hedley’s memory.
