Born on May 3, 1963 in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.  Was taken away from us suddenly in Surrey on February 27.  She is survived by her husband Tony of 26 years, parents Len and Marilyn Knutson of Surrey, siblings Marven (Karen), David, Dale, Duane(Charlene), Coreen (Bill) , nephews Alan, Matthew, Jordan, Jameson, nieces Cassidy, Taylor.  Leona loved life and will be remembered for her vitality and concern for those less fortunate than herself.  She expressed a character of strong will and displayed an unconditional love and concern for animals in need of care or in distress.  She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, and her maternal grandparents, survived by step-grandfather Robert Taylor, many extended family, cousins, aunts, and uncles.  Memorial Service to be held at Holy Trinity Cathedral, 514 Carnarvon Street, New Westminster, on Tuesday, March 9th at 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local S.P.C.A.  Please “Pay it Forward” in honour of Leona.
