It is in loving memory and with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kerry Morrissey  (Telford), age 41, and beloved infant daughter, Sarah Grace Morrissey, age 6 months.  They are survived by loving and devoted husband and father, Patrick Morrissey, and daughter Claire.  It is a great loss for all, including Kerry’s mother, Eileen Telford, father, Charles Telford, his wife, Mary Lou Francis Telford, sister, Carmen Ryujin, her husband, Steve, nephew, Zachary and niece, Kaiya.

A Celebration of Life remembrance will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 5th, at 10th Avenue Alliance Church, 11 West 10th Ave. in Vancouver.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to “Oblate Missions of Peru " Santa Clotilde” at Oblate missions of Peru, 100 Main St., Ottawa, Ontario K1S 1C2.

Kerry dedicated her life to her faith where she felt a special calling serving the vulnerable.  At the Bridge Clinic, she worked tirelessly as an advocate for her refugee patients.  Over the past decade, Kerry served as a medical missionary in Peru at Santa Clotilde.  She also loved working as part of the family of doctors, midwives, doulas and nurses at the South Community Birth Program

Above all else, what brought Kerry the most joy was being a mother to her two daughters, Claire and Sarah.  Faith is an intrical part of their family life and has supported and comforted Patrick and Claire.

Sarah was known for her happy smile and disposition.  While blessed with her presence for just a short time, she touched the heart of everyone she met.  Sarah, like her mother, was known to light up a room.

In order to put together a scrap book for Claire, we are collecting stories about Kerry and Sarah. We invite you to please leave your memories, comments and stories of Kerry and Sarah for Claire on line.

Thank you,

Patrick
