It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ken Murray. Earlier this year Ken got sick and unfortunately suffered a stroke. He had complication after complication and after fighting for 50 long days in the ICU. Ken sadly passed away peacefully with his wife and son by his side.
Ken was an only child to Kenneth and Linda Murray. Born and raised in Burnaby.
He is survived by his mother Linda, his high school sweetheart Tena, his children Lee (Andraya) and Christina (Cody) and granddaughter Skyler.
If you knew Ken, he was a quiet man who loved his career of truck driving. Vehicles were always a huge part of his life from muscle cars to dirt bikes - he loved it all. If you pulled into his driveway he would often inspect your vehicle, check your oil and sometimes even wash your car. Cars were his passion.
He always had to make people laugh even during sad times, just to put a smile on your face.
This year we were so excited to see him as a Grandpa for the first time it’s not fair he won’t be able to watch his granddaughter grow up but we will be sure to let her know what an amazing Grandpa she had.
Ken will be missed dearly by everyone who had the opportunity to know him.
