Ken Peaker passed away suddenly in his residence in Vancouver, British Columbia on February 20, 2023 at the age of 61.

He was born in Calgary on July 11, 1961 at the Grace Hospital. He spent his early schooling years at Notre Dame College in Wilcox, Saskatchewan and Sir Winston Churchill High School in Calgary, Alberta. He completed a degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Alberta in 1984 and was employed in the oil industry for a number of years. He spent much of his adult life living in Vancouver, where he felt closer to nature and he enjoyed writing poetry.

Ken is survived by his children Bradley and Madison (Matt), parents Doreen and Gary, and sisters Deborah (Don) and Shannon (Scott).

He will be deeply missed and remembered for his kindness, infectious smile, witty sense of humour, and intelligence.

The family will be celebrating his life privately.
