Ken passed away peacefully on May 27th in Vancouver at the age of 64. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Logan (Kumi) and Sacha, their mother Junie, and grandchildren William and Erin. A true Canadian, Ken was an avid hunter and fisherman who was most at peace outdoors.  He also had a passion for travel, which he shared with his children from an early age. Ken’s curious and adventurous nature took him all over the world and made him a master at sneaking into first class on flights. Above all, Ken will be remembered for his razor sharp wit and fearless attitude. His ability to cut down a situation into bite-sized chunks of observational humour and incredible wordplay was unparalleled. His sense of humour lives on through his children, who continue to pass on his amazing words and stories. A special thank you to the attending staff at St. Paul's Hospital, ICU. A Celebration of Ken's Life will be held at Kearney Funeral Home, 450 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, on Saturday, May 31, at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully acknowledged to St. Paul's Hospital, ICU.
