It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father Keith after a very courageous battle with cancer.
Dad is survived by his three children, Linda, Jennifer, and David as well as by his grandchildren, Dallas, Devon, Brontë, Chad, Todd, and Jessica, as well as many great-grandchildren. Dad was predeceased by his mother Catherine (1973) and his first wife and loving mother to his children Margaret (2022) and many good friends along the way.
Keith grew up in Kitsilano, Vancouver near Jericho beach, and lived there for many years. He loved Kits and even after he eventually moved away, his heart was always there, and at Jericho beach.
Keith came from a military family and joined the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada as a Cadet in June 1949. He was a member of the Seaforth Highlanders Reserve - Company 'C' until May 1966. He was proud of those years.
Dad loved his family very much and lived his life to the fullest and was always in the moment.
He loved reading a good novel, card games with friends, long walks, and lawn bowling to which he was a member of the Richmond Lawn Bowling Association.
No service by request, in lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the BC Cancer Association or to the Canucks Autism Network on behalf of his grandson Devon.
We will miss your big laugh, your big hugs, and your huge love Dad.
But most of all, we will miss you.
Like a handprint on our hearts, you will always be with us.
Love you Dad.
