Throughout her life, Katrina was surrounded by a community filled with love and support.
Our family is grateful to all of our family members and friends who always made space and time for Katrina, for not shying away from her and embracing her as she was – a quiet and joyful observer – except when she was expressing her playful disapproval, howling with laughter, or wheeling on the dance floor, often simultaneously.
We are also grateful to the Theatre Terrific Community, Burnaby Association for Community and Inclusion, the doctors, nurses, physical therapists, social workers and especially her incredible care and support workers Edna and Adriana.

Thank you for being a friend.
There will not be a day where we won’t miss everything about her – her smile, her laugh, her humour, her determination – everything.
Throughout her short and rich life, Katrina defied all expectations, even in her final days.
A Memorial Service to celebrate and honour Katrina will be held at Kearney Columbia-Bowell Chapel (219 6th Street, New Westminster) on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 9:30am. Refreshments will be served.
Katrina's urn will be laid to rest at The Gardens of Gethsemani at 12:45pm.
