Kathleen (Kay) Lobdell (nee Kingsbury), born March 16, 1920, passed away December 13, 2011.  Predeceased by her husband Rufus, sister Lottie, and brothers John and George.  Survived and dearly missed by children Penny, Vicki, and Michael (Shemila), grandchildren Aili and Keira, extended family, and friends.  She was an avid bridge player, appreciated the challenge of a crossword puzzle, enjoyed travelling, and was always eager to learn new things.  In recent years she was delighted at becoming a grandmother and in watching and feeding the birds where she lived.  The family wishes to thank all the staff at Willingdon Care Centre for the loving care they have provided to Mom.  No service by request.  If desired, donations can be made to Burnaby General Hospital.
