Katherine DeVos (Nee Krull) went to her eternal home on Saturday April 16, 2022, two months short of her 104th birthday to be with her precious Lord and Saviour and all her loved ones who have gone before.
Katherine was predeceased by her 1st husband Michael Koshlay 1969, and her 2nd husband Johann DeVos 2000, her parents Wasyl and Palahia Krull, her siblings John, Fred, Nick, Mary, Jean, Nellie, Clara, Mike, Peter, Walter, Sophie, Anna, Rose, Stella as well as numerous brothers in law and sisters in law.
She will be very sadly missed by her daughters Loretta (Al) and Deloris (Wade), grandchildren Shelley(Kevin), Tanya (Mike), Tracy (Lorne), Dean (Trish), Brett (Katie), great-grandchildren Ashley (Jerome), Monica, Cassidy, Andrew, Caleb, Rya, Paige, Maya, Dakota.
Katherine was born June 17, 1918 in Fenwood Saskatchewan, the 10th child of 15 children. She lived in Saskatchewan for 49 years, mainly residing in Young, then moving to Delta B.C.
Many thanks to the Dr. Al Hogg Pavilion in White Rock where she was provided loving care for her final 4 years of her long life.
Katherine was an Avon representative for many years and made many friends making her visits an endless social tour. She also worked at a war factory in Ontario, a fish cannery in Steveston, the Co-op store in Young and Dare Foods Cookie factory in Surrey.
She was always an active member of the Ukrainian CWL everywhere she resided.
Katherine was a talented, hard working woman who loved to pray, cook, bake, sew, crochet, bingo games, coordinating so that everything was perfectly matched in her appearance and in her home. She had a gracious spirit who cared deeply for her family and friends.
