It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Julie on Wednesday, January 24th 2018, in Vancouver B.C. Julie was Bodmin, Cornwall, but grew up in Plymouth in Devon, England. She taught school in London before coming to Toronto, Canada in 1967, where she took up a position with Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development. There she met Bob and they were married in 1969 in Vancouver. She resumed teaching at St. Peter's in New Westminster prior to raising her family in Delta and Vancouver.

Julie played badminton for at least 30 years, enjoyed many years as a master gardener, but most of all, enjoyed her stamp collection. Julie is survived by her husband Bob and their three children, Michael (Jacqueline), Karen (James) and Chris; grandchildren, Carolyn, Luke and Zachary. She was predeceased by her brothers, Michael and Ted and survived by her sister Janet (Mark) along with nephews and nieces in England.

Prayers will be offered on Sunday, February 4th, at 7:00pm at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish (1430 West 38th Ave., Vancouver) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Feb 5th, 2018 at 10:30am.
