Joseph Mario Mancinelli, 84 of Vancouver, BC passed away Friday September 20th 2013, at Vancouver General Hospital after suffering a stroke. Born  in Vancouver on July 27th, 1929.  Known to all of his friends & family as 'Mario'.

A dedicated father & husband, survived by his loving wife, & best friend Betty. Sons Chris (Lanie), Don (Tracy), Mike (Jane), Steve (Glenda) his brother Jerry (Joy), several grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous brothers & sisters in-law.

Mario was a hardworking, dedicated, and successful business owner (York Sheet Metal Ltd.) since 1972 in the sheet metal industry. He was an active member of SMACNA BC and sat on the board for several years. Mario was a very talented builder and enjoyed construction from the early design stages to hands on field and site work. Working closely (40+) years with Joe Alvaro, his friend and right hand man, he was well respected in the trade and construction industry.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 27th at St. Augustine's Church, 2028 W. 7th Ave, Vancouver. Father Vincent LaPlante, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC.  www.heartandstroke.bc.ca
